Halloween 2010

This Halloween was very busy but so much fun! We had 7 house guest in 4 days! Charlie's God father Bain came to stay with us Wednesday night to go to a concert with Mark. We were so glad to see him and hope he comes back soon! Thursday night Grammy and Papaw came to visit and were nice enough to babysit Charlie while Mark and I had a much needed date night. We went to Uchi which is an amazing sushi restaurant... Mark hates sushi but wanted to surprise me since its my favorite! I am a lucky girl!! Grammy and Papaw left Saturday morning and by that afternoon we had Scott, Kim, Will and Luke Odom arrive ready to party. We all went to a family Halloween party and then Kim was nice enough to stay home while we went out for a more adult friendly party. Mark and I had sooo much fun at Duncan and Laine's karaoke party!! I have us both on film singing but we were both pretty bad so I will NOT be sharing those videos. It took a lot of liquid courage to get up there and sing so there is some slurring... not good!

October 2010

This month has been our busiest yet!! Charlie and I spent most of our time in Houston, Galveston and the lake!! We had so many parties and special occasions all over Texas...not to mention Kinkaid football!! Mark was an amazing sport about letting us leave during the week and always came to meet us on the weekends!! I have promised him that we won't leave again until Thanksgiving!!

The bride and groom!! We hosted an engagement party in Galveston for this amazing couple and ended up staying out until 2am. The drive home the next day was awful!!

September 2010

I have been slacking this month on the blog so I figured I would just post lots of pictures to get caught up!! We have had a VERY busy and exciting month!! Charlie is growing up so fast!! He can now say up to 25 words, point to most of his body parts and he can tell you the sounds of 5 animals! Emma (my mom) bought Charlie an I pad and he has mastered turning it off and on, turning on music and playing apps. He can go from one app to another all on his own. Yes I know I'm bragging but I am so proud!!

My cousin Stephen brought his future bride to Austin for the weekend. We LOVED having them and can't wait for the wedding!

We spent a weekend in Galveston for Mark's fantasy football draft and while Dada was having a great time with his buddies Charlie and I enjoyed time with the family. Charlie LOVED swimming with his GRAMMY!

Charlie and I got bored so we walked to the store and bought stuff to make cookies and fudge from scratch. Charlie liked the spoons and sampled the goods!
