School has started

School has begun and life is good! Charlie had been getting a little restless around the house and is defiantly enjoying his new school. I'm enjoying the quality time I get with Harris but we both miss Charlie and get excited for pick up time.      Harris is still Huge and LOVES to eat. He has 3-4 solid meals a day and is the happiest baby ever. Charlie is still high energy and is starting to play soccer in the fall. Of course Mark is the coach and I'm not sure which one of them is more excited.

Charlie is 3!! I can't believe it! The past 3 years have gone by so fast! We had a "truck" themed party at pump it up with 74 of Charlie's closest friends and family. He had so much fun and felt very special ALL week. He weighs 31lbs and was in the 50% (up from the 6th) in weight and in the 25% in height (down from the 75%). He's a full on little boy now with amazing verbal skills. He LOVES to talk... Just like his Mama and unfortunately has my knack for mischief. Let's hope Harris takes after Mark in more ways than just looks!

June

In June we went to Iowa for a Duncan family reunion. We had so much fun and enjoyed celebrating Grandma Winger's 97th birthday. The flight with 2 kids was easy, Charlie and Harris did great! The following week we went down to Galveston to celebrate Mark's parents 45th wedding anniversary. We had a lovely time on the island celebrating such a blessed union. 

The boys are doing great! Harris is sleeping through the night and Charlie LOVES being a big brother. Charlie has been in summer camp 3 days a week at his new school and is having a great time. He is a full on swimmer now without any flotation which makes us proud but a bit nervous at times. I swear he's part fish! Harris turns five months today and is the happiest baby ever... as long as he's being held! Life is good!! 

May 2012

May has been a very fun month for the Odom family. We have spent two weekends out at the lake already and just got back from a Mullen wedding in Galveston. Having 2 kids has not slowed us down at ALL. Harris is HUGE!! He weighs 16 lbs and is a great sleeper. He sleeps in his own bed and only gets up once to eat. Charlie loves his little brother so much and is really sweet and caring to Harris. Charlie starts summer school next week and I am thrilled... poor guy is getting bored around the house.
